Community Service puts together kits consisting of a top, batting, backing and binding, which members can check out at a meeting.  They complete the quilt and bring it back to a subsequent meeting.  We would like to encourage every member to make at least 1 quilt in the spring and 1 in the fall.  This presents a great opportunity to practice your machine quilting skills!

There is also fabric and batting in our library for your convenience.  Anyone or any group may go there to cut kits or pick up fabric for the Community Service quilts.  You may also use your own fabric for a quilt – the sky’s the limit!  The Library also has cutting mats, rulers and rotary cutters for you to use while you’re there.
